Witt Labor Day Celebration The Witt Lions Halloween Parade will be on Wednesday October 31, 2012 at 5 PM. Line up will be across from the Security National Bank and the parade will march up Broadway to the Lion's Park/Baseball Field for costume judging & prizes. Light refreshments will be served in the Lion's building after. Come out and bring your little "Boils and Ghouls" or come uptown to see the kiddies!

Here are some of the community activities sponsored each year by the Lions Club:

WITT LABOR DAY:

The Witt Labor Day Homecoming Celebration is promoted and conducted by your Witt Lions Club with full cooperation of the people of this community and surrounding area for two primary aims:

1. To provide a holiday atmosphere to bring friends and neighbors together for their pleasure and entertainment.

2. To promote funds to further develop the community welfare.

The officers of the Witt Lions Club thank all for their intense effort and pledge to use the club's energy to continue this event so long as the aims are met.

HALLOWEEN PARADE:

Every Halloween the Lions Club sponsors a Halloween Parade through downtown Witt that ends at the Lions Ball Park. There judges award costume prizes according to various age brackets from infant to adult. After the judging, all participants are invited into the Lions Club building to enjoy hot dogs and punch.

LITE-A-LITE:

Held in December of each year, LITE-A-LITE is a Christmas celebration that is fun for the whole family, with Toy Roulette, a visit form Santa, entertainment, and the raffle drawing. The raffle books get a name on the LITE-A-LITE board on display outside city hall. It may be your name of in memory of loved ones.

Proceeds go to benefit Witt Lions activities.

EASTER EGG HUNT:

Each year the Lions clud host an Easter Egg Hunt for area children.
